Idea

How can architecture address the stigmas surrounding sex work? And in turn, how can it lessen internalized stressors while ensuring workers feel comfortable accessing health, safety, and other necessary services?

The process began with an exploration of stigma and existing socio and psychological research related to sex work, and led to a strategy of:

1. Increasing positive contact between sex workers and non sex workers within situations and environments that help break negative stereotypes
2. Providing visibility, accessibility, and resources to sex worker needs
